What to Expect at Worship(Matthew 5:12) |
We welcome you to join us at for our worship service any Sunday at 10:30 a.m.
We gather together in worship so that we may know, understand and follow the Lord our God and so that we may build meaningful relationships with Him and each other. We find that by coming together in community each week we are reminded of God's presence in our life and are fed and lifted up by learning and worshiping together in spiritual community.
What to expect during our worship service: Our worship experience is designed for both adults and children to participate in. Children are invited to be with their parents for the first part of the service which consists of worship, music and a children’s talk. This portion of the service is designed around the children. The children are invited to come sit up front for their talk, which always includes some type of interaction, be it drama, visual aids, tactile experiences or group interaction. We offer children’s programs during the second half of the worship service for children ages 0-18. The children's programs are divided into various age groups and the Sunday School teachers offer on opportunity for learning, community building and fun. The second half of our worship service is focused on the needs of the adult portion of our community. We enjoy music, both reflective interludes and congregational singing. The message (sermon), will dig into topics, teachings and Biblical stories and bring out the applicable messages that we can take into our daily lives with us. We close our service with a discussion and question-and-answer time where the congregation is invited to bring up any ideas or thoughts that came up during the sermon or to ask the pastor to expand upon or clarify points from the sermon. Our hope is that gathering together in worship will recharge spiritual batteries, offer new insights and growth ideas and provide a space to be together in community and remember that we are not alone on this journey.
